I’m totally excited about this. OMGTees has been lean of posts for a few weeks because I’ve been hacking around with algorithms and spiders to construct this, the worlds first teeco chart! How does the chart work? Well. Basically a bunch of spiders and RSS consumers go out and grab blog posts, forum traffic, web news, and a bunch of other ’stuff’ that talks about tshirts. This is all mushed into a database, and a smartypants algorithm figures out which domains and teecos are being talked about the most. Each teeco is given a score based on this, and they are arranged into a top 50 above. The top 12 then get put into a neat clicky thing for the post.
Not on the list? We are tracking almost 200 teeco sites. But if you aren't on our top 50 then it may be that you aren’t on our watch list, and so we aren’t picking up the buzz around you. Comment below or email steve@omgtees.com with your URL and we’ll make sure we track you - even if you’re tiny!.
Disclosure -Some of the teecos are linked through an affiliate program or a streetteam style link. Hey - a guys allowed to make a buck! As you can see from the fact that most of the top 12 don’t link in this way, I’m not skewing the results.
